|Date:||July 10, 2018—July 14, 2018|
|Event:||Colorado PREMIUM Speech & Debate Camp|
I will be running Monument’s debate camp at the beautiful Ponderosa Ranch, July 10-14. Believe it or not, we still have openings for this event (as of today). We could use 4 more policy debaters and 1 more Lincoln-Douglas debater. Let me know if you have any questions!
I will be attending Stoa Academy for Thursday night and all day Friday with my wife, Wendy. Stoa Academy is specifically designed for Stoa coaches and leaders. My vendor booth will feature Blue and Red Books and I will be delivering a workshop on “Structure and Strategy” in teaching academic speech and debate.
I will be at NCFCA Nationals on Thursday through Saturday, attending with both my daughter Tabitha and my wife, Wendy. Stop by our booth to say hi!
Making “impact” wins debate rounds, and in the world of diplomacy it influences great world events. One of my camp alumni from 2009 is having lasting impact in Singapore.
May I make a prediction? Human rights will be a central negotiating piece to the coming US/North Korea negotiations and ultimately improve within North Korea. With debaters like Olivia Enos pressing for healthy policy, the negotiators will be empowered to make an impact.
To find our more about what Olivia is doing at the Heritage Foundation, check out here webpage here.
I will be heading to NITOC soon, and Monument Members is a “Diamond Sponsor” of the event. See you there!
