I would like your help in choosing the best cover for my new book Facing Hate: Memoir of a Social Smear. Please vote below. And if you have an artistic suggestion, include it in the suggestion box. If I take one of your recommendations for the final cover draft, I’ll send you the book PRIOR to its release in February. You’ll be a significant part of the project!
Hi Chris!
How exciting to see your book ready to be published! I’m so happy for you!
I love option 2 for the cover! While option 1 with the broken glass is sharp (no pun intended) and I like the color contrast, option 2 is unique compared to other book covers I’ve seen so I think it’s more eye-catching. I like how the keyboard keys spell “hate” and the people are pointing at the sad, slouching guy who is red like a target. The cover of the option 2 tell more of a story about the contents of the book, in my opinion. If I were judging a book by it’s cover, I would be more intrigued by the story of the cover cover of option 2, and would be more likely to think option 1 is a suspense or mystery or thriller novel.
I read most of the chapters you posted on Facebook and I really enjoyed your book and following your journey, even while my heart broke for you and Wendy and your family! I will have to follow your blog when you’re off of Facebook, I enjoy having even a distant connection with you guys and I also appreciate your views and insights on the world and learning from you. Hope you are all doing well!
In Christ,
