I begin releasing the chapters of my newest book on Monday, and you may want to follow along. It is the most personal and prolific work of my life. Subscribe here.
Six years ago — nearly to the day — my daughter blogged a horrific tale of abuse in the Jeub family. It was a coordinated and strategic attack. An angry mob followed suit to ravage me, my family, and my business. I was “canceled.”
None of the accusations were true. Seriously. It was a preplanned fabricated assault. Those who followed the online smearing began to realize its falsity, but that didn’t matter. The damage was deep and largely irreparable. I was nearly ruined.
NEARLY ruined. But not completely.
You see, a greater story was unfolding in my life that resisted the social smearing, repaired relationships, and restored my online reputation. This story — the true story of my family and how we rebuilt after the initial online smear six years ago — has largely been untold. Until Monday when I begin releasing chapters.
The memoir is called FACING HATE: OVERCOMING SOCIAL SMEARING, RECOVERING RELATIONSHIPS, AND REBUILDING YOUR REPUTATION. Join me on this walk through the memoir of my personal online smear.
