I can’t wait to hear Josh Taylor speak at the For Action Conference in January. He’s a YouTube sensation who is developing a fantastic brand with a solid purpose. Be there with us: http://trainingminds.org/action.
This is a very interesting analysis of the adolescent brain. I love this speaker’s conclusion (and her accent).
My friend Dave hosts Field Day every spring with home educators from up and down the Colorado Front Range. It’s a blast.
My 18-year-old daughter, Lydia, is a die-hard “Belieber.” She made this mix from several Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber videos. Not bad video editing, wouldn’t you say?
I have helped several people start their own blogs, and I run three myself. Michael Hyatt lists four general steps that may help you get started. Let me know how it goes!
This is one of my favorite award moments in my life. Two of my coaches, Cody and Travis Herche, were asked to handout the extemp awards at the 2010 National Invitational Tournament of Champions. They didn’t know, but their little brother Jesse was in line to take 1st place. I get goosebumps when I watch this video.
These two have a great start to a happy life. They’ve been married for less than three years, but they seem to have a lot of great tips for young couples.
I visited New Life Ranch, the venue of our NITOC NITC program (see here). For the first time ever, we will have our nationals training camp at a real camp. We have canoes, a pleasant stream, an air soft course—this year’s NITC is going to be awesome.
Though parliamentary debate has been around for centuries, it is relatively new to our Colorado community of high school debaters. This is my daughter wrapping up a speech from the Opposition at the Centennial State Tournament. I’ll be there today judging some rounds.
